OUR ACTIVITIES IN TURKEY

Turkey currently hosts more than 3 million Syrian refugees, but the issue of racism towards Syrian refugees continue to rise, especially in the last couple of years.

In the UK and the US, screening For Sama had a positive impact on enlightening the public on the important issues in the Syrian story, however, the film has not been distributed in Turkey to date. We’re putting a lot of efforts into raiseing awareness about why we’ve become refugeed, and to stand against racisms. Towards those efforts and using the For Sama film, we’ve been increasing our presence in Turkey throughout a wide range of activities.
